Youth Parliament elections

Youth Parliament elections         19 March 2010

On 19 March (and for two weeks leading up to it) all young people in Warrington will be given the opportunity to vote in the youth parliament elections through their school or local youth group.

For those wishing to stand for election, a pre-election day will be held on 12 February at Orford Youth Base, Capesthorne Road from 9.30am - 2.30pm.

The successful candidates will represent the views of young people across the town, so making sure that you vote for who you think will speak up for you is really important.

IMPACT is Warrington's youth council. The elected representatives will be part of this council and work alongside Warrington Borough Council officers, influencing decisions that will affect children, young people and families in the town.

For more information about the youth parliament elections, IMPACT, or getting involved in council decision-making contact Warrington youth support service on 01925 442874 or involvement@warrington.gov.uk.
